The client wanted to extend their Claims Management System (CMS) by providing scope inspectors with a simple and efficient mobile solution for conducting inspections directly from the field. The objective was to reduce manual paperwork, streamline data capture, and integrate inspection results seamlessly with the central CMS.

The client was looking for a mobile solution to address the needs of a chapter-based association. It needed a structured approach to moving away from Whatsapp being the sole method of communicating with its members. The key features required were chapter event announcements, the ability to register for chapter events, the ability to rate and provide feedback for events, member benefits, complete chapter retreat agenda, scheduled notifications, etc. They needed something that was quick, slick & attractive yet simple to use unlike some of the other EO apps available that were not intuitive and painfully slow.

We developed a Scope Inspection Mobile Application that initially launched with the Roof Scope Inspection feature. The application is designed to be simple, user-friendly, and highly intuitive, enabling scope inspectors to perform inspections quickly and efficiently.

The mobile application is available on both iOS and Android platforms, ensuring inspectors can use it on any device of their choice.

This mobile app was created to simplify on-site inspections, reduce manual effort, and seamlessly connect field data with the central CMS. By empowering inspectors with a structured, user-friendly tool available on both iOS and Android, the application ensures that every inspection is faster, more accurate, and fully integrated into the claims process.

Key Features of the Mobile App:

• Structured Questionnaire : Presents questions in a clear, step-by-step format to ensure no details are missed during inspections.
• Photo Capture with Descriptions : Inspectors can take photos, annotate them with descriptions, and attach them directly to the inspection.
• Speech-to-Text : Allows inspectors to dictate notes, which are automatically converted into text, saving time and reducing typing effort.
• Offline Capability : Inspectors can record data even without internet access. Data is synced once the device is back online.
• Integration with Central CMS : Once an inspection is submitted, all collected data flows into the Central CMS, where a PDF Inspection Report is automatically generated.
• Roof Pitch Gauge : While capturing photos, inspectors can calculate and record the roof pitch gauge, ensuring accurate slope measurements are documented directly in the app.

In addition to the Roof Scope Inspection, we are expanding the mobile application to support: -

• Detached Structure Scope
• Fence Scope
• Interior Scope
• Exterior Scope

These additional modules will ensure that all types of property inspections are fully digitized within the same application.
