The client is an established organization that has been operational since 1991. They specialize in training law enforcement and military K9 handlers, offering a range of services including law enforcement and military tactical training, K9 management skills, and narcotics and explosives detection profiles. With a focus on enhancing skills for street deployments, their team members boast extensive experience in the field.

The client wanted to develop a mobile application that is useful for training the K9 teams, laying out training tracks, tracking the actual track and comparing both side-by-side. Also, in order to track the culprits, police teams capture the evidence while on the move and broadcast the ongoing activity with geo location etc. The client had no prior software and wanted to implement this idea.

The client was looking for a Web based solution capable of transforming the manual process into an automated system that could collaborate with Police Officers and Judges virtually and speed up the Warrant issuance process and for which they chose Rheal as their software development partner.

Rheal worked on implementing a mobile application that can be installed on Android and iOS devices that has following important features.

• Real-time Tracking: It is a GPS-based tracking system that allows for the continuous monitoring of police K9 teams during operations or training activities. This enables the tracking and visualization of the K9 team's movements on a digital map. The tracking system captures and records the geo track of the K9 team's activities. This data includes information such as speed, distance travelled, and the specific routes taken by the team.
• Photograph Evidence Capture and Geotagging: The tracking system enables the trainer/K9 team to capture photographic evidence during pursuits or training exercises. Each photograph is automatically geotagged with the precise location and time information.
• Share Track: The trainers can share the track with other team members. This helps to compare the tracks and the movement of the team.
• Broadcasting of the track: While the team is in pursuit, the user can broadcast the ongoing track. This allows the other team members to watch the track on their mobile devices and reach the specified locations quickly for help.
